Last July I had the pleasure of visiting Nun's Island, or Ile des Soeurs, a small neighbouring island next to Montreal for a family session with Tanya, her husband and baby boy.
It had been some time since I'd visited the area, the last time being when I was taking my driving lessons in college. We had gone there to practice driving in roundabouts since we don't have any on the island of Montreal!
Tanya and her family live right near to the waterfront, so we started the shoot indoors and then moved out to the park. It was a really pleasant time since their son was pretty much all smiles during the entire shoot, loving every second of it. It sure does make my job easy!
Capturing families in their comfy spaces never ceases to bring me a ton of joy.
